 A METEOROLOGICAL MISCELLANEA – This booklet is a collection of anecdotes, stories, poems dating back to WW2. Most of the collection was gathered by Gill whilst researching information for a future book on the History of the Met Branch. It was felt that these anecdotes would be out of place in the book but would be a great shame if they were lost, hence this booklet. The booklet is A4 size consisting of 32 pages plus cover at a cost of £5 which includes P&P. |

Publications for Sale
At long last volume two of the Meteorological Miscellanea is available, hot off the press. Due to the decline in acceptance of long print runs by our rather ancient A3 printer and although edited this project had to be put on hold. Before vat went up we decided to replace said printer and have now been able to reproduce this hallowed tome. With several pieces by George Blewitt and others by Pete “Klankey” Latham not to mention various pieces resurrected from old branch newsletters, this makes a worthwhile purchase to while away those first few cold, dark months of the year. It is always possible your name may be mentioned; did you ‘spin a dit’ for a past newsletter? Our very own Webmaster was persuaded to put pen to paper! 
For those of you interested in the puzzles on our download section we are now able to offer a collection of twelve puzzles, complete with answers in book form. A few have been on the web site but there are others, we hope a little more challenging, created just for this book. Our puzzle compiler is Peter Squibb and TSB, who has very little met knowledge, has been able to complete all but one.
